Current Picture

So here is a more current picture of our family on the header. Up until a couple months ago Max had to have Justin Bieber hair, so freaking cute! I have to say I think he is cuter than Justin. You can see my pregnant belly, which is smaller than my other two were, I don't mind, however, at this very moment it is much bigger (12 days to go!). Lincoln is our little Hulk, just like his Daddy was.

My Best Friends Wedding

One of my Best Friends, Tracy Christopher got married this summer. It was the funnest weekend ever! She got married on this beautiful cliff.

What it's been almost 3 years?

Wow, time really does fly, it's been almost 3 years since I posted last. I have posted a new family picture but even that is almost 1 year old. You can see that Ryan ages well, I always knew he would get even Hotter with age. Me on the other hand have not changed a bit, don't I still look like I did in High School? I was hoping I would look like a women by now. Maybe by the next time I post another picture I will, ha ha. So much has happended that I am not even going to attempt to update with everything. Ok, so it has been the craziest year of our lives! I will just touch on the basics. We are expecting our third boy in about 2 weeks, can't wait! I was crazy sick again with this one so it might be the last. We have moved to Sandy, just East of where we used to be. It is suppose to be temporary but you never know. I have started my own business selling the first, "Baby Blowout Protector", check it out at babyblowoutprotector.blogspot.com. It has been so much stinking fun to do. Ryan and I are now in our 30's and I can't believe that we are actually a little family now, with almost 3 kids. We will soon have our first of many Minivans. I am grateful every year for the year that has pasted. Our children have given new meaning to life and we would be extreemly borred without them. I hope it won't be another 3 years until you hear from me again! Just wanted to post so you know that we were still alive and well.

I have really enjoyed the second child. With one child you think, how can I take care of more children? But you do! Lincoln is a perfect baby, we are so blessed!

I'm Back

Wow, I am so bad at this blogging thing. I will try to be better from here on out. I had to update the photos on here so you could all see how freaking cute my boys are. So be prepared for freaking cuteness (how do you spell that?)!

My prelabor story

I have to tell everyone how Lincoln came to be born when he did. I scheduled an inducement date at my 37 wk. appointment for the 22nd of Oct., I decided to induce so that my Mother could be here for the birth. However, in the back of my mind I was a little unsure that that was what I really wanted. As I continued to go to my weekly appointments I was progressing well, from 1.5 cm to 3 cm, and effacing well, so that got me thinking. If I could go into spontaneous labor, maybe I could go without an epidural (which I have been considering since I had Max). From then on this was all I could think about (going at it natural), I would imagine how it was going to be and how I was going to handle the pain, etc. So at my 39 wk. (Oct. 20th) appointment I decided to change my inducement date to the following week because at that point I would be overdue, in the hopes that I would go into labor on my own in the mean time. However, on the way home from the appointment Ryan and I talked and decided to change my inducement date back to the 22nd (scheduling it just seemed to make everything easier), so I called the office to see if that was possible, they said that they would call me back to let me know if it was still available, but I didn't hear back from them that day.

That night was horrible, I still could not decide what I wanted to do, but after talking to my Mom I could see that in my heart I wanted to go into labor on my own, and try to do it without an epidural. I told my Mom not to come (she was scheduled to come the next day), and wait until I called her to tell her that I was in labor. But of course I was still uneasy because I really wanted my Mom there, I didn't even know if I could go naturally without the support of my Mother there, so on Tuesday morning, the 21st, I was going insane, should I keep the 22nd or what? Now, I still had not heard from the Dr. office to see if they were able to switch the date back to the 22nd, which was the next day. Well, while I was in the shower the Dr.'s office called, I only assumed that it was the lady who scheduled the inducement date, but when I called back I discovered that it was a nurse calling to tell me that the blood work that I had done on Monday showed that my blood platelet count had dropped within the last 2 weeks and it was of concern. The nurse called the Dr. to see if it was a problem, and in the mean time I asked to talk with the receptionist about the inducement date. It turned out that she had changed it back to the 22nd, but remember, now I wanted to keep it for the following week, so I changed it again. So I had made my decision.......so I had thought. The nurse called me right back and said that the Dr. wanted to keep the inducement date for the 22nd (the next morning) because he didn't want my platelets to fall any lower. This news came as a relief, it was now out of my hands and I had to be induced. I immediately called my Mom to tell her she needed to keep her flight for that night, which meant she needed to leave in 3 hours from work and have my Dad pack her suit case (I felt so awful, but she understood, LOVE YOU MOM!).

That's how Lincoln Michael Miller came to be born on the 22nd of October. He was 8 lbs. 11 ounces, 19 inches long, thank goodness I went a week early. I was induced but my body took it very well so I was able to do it without an epidural, YEAH, I loved it (Ok, it was the worst pain in my life, but an awesome experience)! Thanks Mom, Angie and Tausha for your inspiration!

Things are going very well, the second is much much easier than the first! Now I want another one. How does anyone stop having babies? It is the best to have a baby in the home.

The Cutest Boy Ever!

Daddy has taught Max how to "cheeeeeese", this is the best one yet. We're growing his hair out and experimenting with styles, as you can see.
I am so glad that Max still likes to sit on my lap, however, he now calls it "Baby's lap", which is completely true, there is not much lap left at this point.

Baby's Room, DONE!

Ryan worked so hard to get these rooms done for me while I was in pregnant anxious mode. Thanks HONEY! I am of course so excited to have this little one, now that things are in order. Now I just have to wait, I hate waiting.

Rooms are DONE!

I am hoping that Max will love his room so much that he won't mind when the baby is sleeping in "his" crib.

Here I am, I've got just about 4 weeks left! I am holding this one exactly the same way I held Max, low and out, can you tell? I can't believe that I will soon have TWO children, how is it done?

UPDATE

I don't know what to write on these things yet, so I will just write about me. I am so excited to be pregnant now because I know it won't be for much longer. Does anyone really enjoy being pregnant? I suppose you're out there but I don't want to hear about it. Don't get me wrong, I love having babies, but my favorite part is the labor because I know it will be over soon.

I will more than likely be enduced on Oct. 23rd so my Mother can be here. I'll keep you posted.
